Looking for a cheeky chocolate-flavoured snack that’s only 100 calories and has a great protein ratio? Well, my girl, these Almond Amaze-balls are for you! Perfect as a pre-workout snack on the way to the gym or as a little guilt-free after-dinner treat.
Makes 12-15 Amaze-balls depending on size.
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup natural almond butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (64 grams)
- 1-2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
Combine oats, almond butter, honey, protein powder and shredded coconut in a large bowl
(Stirring the mix together will take a little elbow grease! It may seem too thick at first, but it will come together as you keep mixing)
Once combined, use your hands to knead the mix together like a dough
Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to scoop small amounts of the mix and roll into balls with your hands
Place in the fridge to set, and store in a covered container in the fridge or freezer
