Chocolate Breakfast Smoothie

This absolutely drool-worthy smoothie makes for the perfect quick brekky for busy mornings, or a delicious protein-packed afternoon snack.



  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup frozen banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder (I use vanilla)
  • 1/2 C almond milk
  • 3-4 dates
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cacao or cocoa powder
  • 5 walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon honey (if you want to sweeten it up!)



Throw everything into the blender and mix until smooth.

Pour into a glass and enjoy! I like to sprinkle some coconut flakes and mixed seeds on top of mine for a little added goodness and a bit of crunch.
